Range
Across the hottest and coldest places — from 130F to -25F — Rivian battery system has been developed to explore. At launch, the R1T will deliver 300+ miles. In January 2022, a 400+ mile R1T will be available. Range is an estimate — official EPA rating is pending review.
SPACIOUS TRUCK BED
Load in dirt bikes or sheets of plywood on a structural composite bed that’s wear and corrosion resistant. Two 120V outlets, a lockable, weatherproof tonneau cover and room under the bed floor for an optional full-size spare are standard on all vehicles.
AUDIO SYSTEM
The Rivian Elevation audio system by Meridian positions speakers at precise locations throughout the cabin – including four titanium dome speakers overhead – for a fully immersive experience. Use the removable Bluetooth speaker at your destination to bring your favorite music with you.
Exterior colors
Rivian vehicle colors draw inspiration from the places we’ve been and things we love. Like our silver, the color we first shared with the world at our premiere in LA. Or our yellow, inspired by our logo, the Rivian compass. Or Rivian Blue, our founder’s favorite color.
Interior
Inspired by overland trips, off-road detours and long weekends in the woods. The R1T is designed with premium, adventure-proof materials that welcome mud, sand and everything else you can throw at it.
Connected car
Cloud-based architecture and network of onboard computers integrate your vehicle, charging and Rivian app through a single user interface. Over-the-air updates continuously enhance the vehicle, updating everything from driving dynamics to the games on your touchscreen.
Platform
The Rivian platform includes battery pack, drive units, suspension, thermal and lower body structure. These systems have been elegantly packaged to preserve cabin space for occupants and gear while providing a low center of gravity for more confident driving.
Warranties
Rivian vehicles are built to last. Standard comprehensive warranty is 5 years or 60,000 miles. Battery Pack and Drivetrain are covered for 8 years or 175,000 miles. Limited corrosion warranty is 8 years with unlimited miles. Warranties are based on whichever comes first.
Towing
Powertrain, thermal system and frame structure enable the R1T to tow up to 11,000 lbs in all variants. When towing at full capacity, you can expect around a 50% reduction in range.
Safety
Structures made from aluminum alloy, ultra high-strength steel and carbon fiber are designed for enhanced safety. R1T platform’s low center of gravity helps prevent rollover and keeps you confidently planted. To help improve safety further, a range of driver assistance features are standard on every Rivian vehicle.
Performance
Drive through 3 feet of water. Rock crawl at a 100% grade. Traverse just about any terrain with 14 inches of ground clearance. With a 0-60 mph time in as quick as 3 seconds depending on your tire selection, it also delivers the on-road handling of a sports car.
Gear tunnel
Throw in your ski boots, trail shoes and soaked wetsuits. The Gear Tunnel is designed to handle all the stuff you normally can’t find a spot for. The side doors have storage compartments inside and can hold up to 300 lbs so you can step up to load gear on the roof, or sit while you prep.
