The Bronco Nation staff were lucky enough to take official photos of the upcoming Bronco Raptor, which will be out next year and will join the F-150 Raptor in Ford's new line of high-performance SUVs.

The 2023 Ford Bronco Raptor features Fox Live Wire shocks (also used on the F-150 Raptor), making it much taller than the standard SUV. It will be available with 37-inch BFGoodrich K02 all-terrain tires (also a recently available option for the F-150 Raptor), although a set of smaller 35-inch tires should be standard. The combination of all aggressive elements makes the car much wider. It also has a 'Ford' branding grille like the F-150 Raptor, amber headlights and position lights, skid plates and unique darker taillights.

Ford has yet to reveal any details on what will power the Bronco Raptor, but rumors have it that it will use the significantly more powerful EcoBoost V-6. Currently, the most powerful Bronco engine is the 2.7-liter twin-turbo V-6 with 330 hp, which boosted the two-door Bronco First Edition to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds during the tests. The power of the Bronco Raptor should be much higher and could approach 400 horsepower. But it will have to compete with the 470-horsepower V-8 engine of the new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392.

Ford will provide more information on the new Bronco Raptor closer to its launch next year.
