The new Ram Rampage truck introduced in South America will also be sold in the United States as a competitor to the Ford Maverick. According to The Drive, Stellantis is going to sell the new product in the US and will officially introduce the US version of the Ram Rampage at the end of the year.
Ram CEO Mike Koval has consistently emphasized that the brand is aware of the gaps in the lineup and the demand for small trucks and is looking for ways to release it in the US. In addition, Ram dealers were also shown a midsize electric truck that looks like a smaller version of the larger Ram 1500 REV electric truck.
The Rampage is expected to be powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder Hurricane turbo engine. A PHEV version may also be offered. With heavily camouflaged test vehicles still visible, the US/Canada Rampage could get some unique styling tweaks.
