Toyota has unveiled an updated version of the 2025 4Runner. The base SR5 trim starts at $42,220 — only $565 more than before. The model received a hybrid engine, the previous V6 was replaced with a turbocharged 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine with an 8-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is available for an additional $2,000.
The popular TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road trims have become more expensive. Sport now starts at $48,700 (+$4,185), and Off-Road — at $50,640 (+$5,140). With the hybrid version of the i-Force Max, their price will increase by another $2,800. The new premium Platinum trim starts at $64,310 and is only available with a hybrid and all-wheel drive.
The top of the line is the off-road versions of the Trailhunter and TRD Pro. Their prices start at $68,350. At the same time, the TRD Pro has increased in price by $11,730 compared to the previous generation. Toyota promises the appearance of the new 4Runner in showrooms early next year.
