The 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 debuts: a sports car with an incredible 1,064 horsepower from a twin-turbo 5.5L V8. This is the first Corvette with a turbocharger. It is the most powerful production Corvette in history! The ZR1 has a top speed of over 211 mph, and a special aerodynamic kit creates up to 1,200 pounds of downforce to support all of the car’s power.
In testing, the Corvette ZR1 showed outstanding results, covering the quarter mile (0.4 km) in less than 10 seconds and exceeding 200 mph on Germany’s Nürburgring track. In addition to turbocharging, the LT7 engine also received unique components such as the intake system, pistons, and cylinder heads.
The ZR1 also features new cooling features and aerodynamic improvements, a streamlined hood, and a rear spoiler. Standard equipment includes Magnetic Ride 4.0 shock absorbers and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The Corvette ZR1 price will be announced closer to the start of production, but the new Corvette is expected to cost more than $200,000 in the top trim.
