The new GMC Sierra HD AT4X heavy pickup truck essentially reflects the updates introduced on the 1500 AT4X version. Updates include a 1.5" lift kit, Multimatic DSSV shocks, an electronic rear differential lock and revised suspension.
The extra ground clearance makes room for a beefier set of 35" Goodyear Territory tires, and skid plate armor covers the bottom of the truck. Sierra HD AT4X also features a special "Off-Road" driving mode designed to improve the performance in the wild.
The car is available with a standard 6.6L V8 L8T (401 hp and 629 Nm) or an optional 6.6L V8 L5P Duramax turbodiesel (470 hp and 1322 Nm). Both are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. The maximum load capacity is 8391.5 kg. The sales are scheduled for this autumn.
