2027 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk: Off-Road Variant Returns

Jeep is preparing the return of the Cherokee Trailhawk after the off-road variant was absent from the initial 2026 model lineup. A new 17-second video shows the prototype tackling off-road terrain, including sand, rocks and challenging desert sections.
The Cherokee Trailhawk prototype features a reinforced front bumper, red tow hooks, 17-inch black wheels and Nexen Roadian ATX 245/65R17 tires. The model is expected to receive increased ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, and a revised suspension setup. Selec-Terrain is also expected, with Auto, Sport, Snow, Sand/Mud and Rock driving modes, along with Jeep Active Drive Lock 4x4.
Exact details regarding the suspension, powertrain, ground clearance and equipment have yet to be revealed. In its class, the Cherokee Trailhawk could compete with the Ford Bronco Sport Sasquatch, Subaru Forester Wilderness and Toyota RAV4 Woodland. The U.S. starting price has not yet been announced.
