Ram, responding to numerous requests, released the Ram Rebel 2500 Heavy Duty. The pickup truck has excellent off-road qualities, high towing capacity and payload capacity, and is also equipped with a powerful 6.7-liter Cummins diesel engine.
Ram 2500 HD Rebel models are based on the Power Wagon chassis, adding its off-road capabilities. New 6.7-liter Cummins diesel with 370 hp. and 1152 Nm of torque can be chosen instead of the 6.4L V8 Hemi (410 hp and 582 Nm). The diesel version comes with a six-speed 68RFE automatic transmission, while the Hemi comes with an eight-speed one.
The Rebel HD's exterior features unique details, a sporty hood and special badging. This model also features an off-road-specific suspension, electronic differential lock, 20-inch (or 18-inch) wheels, 33-inch off-road tires and skid plate.
To improve comfort, an air suspension is provided, which significantly affects the smoothness of the ride and handling. The Ram Rebel HD has a maximum towing capacity of 7,652 kg and a payload capacity of 1,425 kg. Additionally, 6.4L Hemi models can be equipped with a 5,443 kg Warn winch.
There are three versions of seat trim to choose from - from fabric to exclusive Bristol or Natura Plus leather, which are also available in a bucket configuration. The Rebel features a 360-degree viewing system for easy towing, and an optional 12-inch screen.
The Ram 2500 HD Rebel is positioned between the Laramie and Power Wagon trim levels, and starts at $68,965 without options.
